A mortgage lead generation chatbot is an automated tool that helps mortgage brokers, lenders and LO’s get qualified leads from their website visitors. This chatbot uses artificial intelligence (AI) to ask the right questions to qualify prospects which eventually turn into mortgage leads, by collecting their personal data and relaying that data to you, the loan officer.
The chatbot generates leads for the mortgage industry by incentivizing prospects to converse, engage, and share data one reply at a time. It’s made so that it doesn’t overwhelm the user like a form does. It’s designed to make the conversation as natural as possible.
Once a prospect clicks on ChatMLO, the loan officer receives a text message to their cell phone letting them know they have a new user on their bot. That text message contains a link that gives the LO the option to ‘intercept’ the chat and speak LIVE with the prospect. Or ignore it. The bot has a ‘Speak to a Live Agent’ button that allows the prospect to request to speak with the LO live. The LO will then receive a 2nd text message alerting them to this new request. Again they can engage, or ignore. Once the prospect completes the chat flow, they will receive an auto text from the LO (using the LO’s caller ID, sent by the chatbot) containing all of the LO’s contact info, including name, email, cell phone, web address, and any other customized info the LO would like to have sent). The LO will then receive an email with all of the details/summary of the chat. This will include details of the loan program the prospect is interested in, approximate loan amount, down payment, FICO score, contact details, and more.
